day196; 7/15/10- SNOW?!

woke up super early, like usual, i thought we were going to go hiking so i wore jeans. -__- after breakfast, we picked up tita julie & her youngest son, Dew, & drove for like 2 hours to this really pretty mountain. there was a trail for bikes but i didnt have my bike! :(
we pretty much went there for lunch, there also were little bridges over creeks which led to this HUGE lake! the weather was great!

after lunch, we went to a place called Whistler Village or something like that, its a place for adrenaline junkies & athletic people who enjoy mountain/ dirt biking & snowboarders & skiiers.
Me, my mom, donny, mark & tita carol went on a gondola going up the mountain, it was beautiful! the farther we went up, the more snow was present & it wasnt cold at all! so i was on a mountain with snow with a t-shirt haha.

then we went to china town to buy siopao! d: then we went to this gathering in a neighborhood much like new jersey, & made new friends, Mark, Mike & Mitch. i had a conversation with mike about pianos, & another conversation with a tito about traveling. lol. i didnt do much but eat & watch them play video games, play with their cat Bowtie (who’s named that because his fur was all black, but at the mouth there was white fur shaped like a bow tie. lol.) & i played a game called Mod Nation Racing, which pretty much was mario kart for the PS3.
I was a complete noobie but i beat them 2/3 times. haha.

& thats just about it!

day195; 7/14/10- IM ON A BOAT.

leeeeeets see. i woke up pretty early, got dressed, went to breakfast REALLY tired! we went on a ferry ride boat thing to Victoria & it was COLD. i’m glad i brought a jacket, lol.
we boarded our cars in the boat & pretty much me, my brother, & Mark just stayed outside on the deck & just watched the water crash as waves. the boat ride took about an hour & a half to victoria, & the ride was delightful. (:

we went to Victoria to go to this fancy garden called Butchart Gardens. (NOT Busch Gardens ]: ) we payed like $173 to go to this stupid garden & I was PISSED. mostly cuz they get mad at me for going over the phone bill, but theyre paying for $30 parking & $90 tours!

While in Victoria,we got a $44 china buffet, which is all weve been eating for the PAST FOUR DAYSSSSS.
we went back to the boat & the tide was much more peaceful than the last. the boat was FLOODED with asians! i read my summer reading book. we went to tito Philippi’s house, the house of the little ones, Cheza, Ty & Jared. @ first, me, my brother & Mark went to the park cuz we didnt want to be with the little fire crackers. we stayed at the park watching people play softball for about an hour & left. we went back & ate a LOT of food! then jared let us play super mario on the wii with him & hes a lot more energetic than i thought..

then we played some Sports Tennis US Open thing on the wii. & then we went home. har har!

day194; 7/13/10-lyingontopofabuilding… thecloudslookednonearerthanwheniwaslyingonthestreet.

i really like that picture. (: lol. anyway. at first we woke up early, once again at 5:30am. we got up & ate breakfast at around 7, & the original plan of the day was to ride a ferry to Victoria, but when we got there, we were heavily ripped off so we didnt go. ($30 JUST for parking!!) anyway, we were @ a place called Canada Place.. (“what is this ‘Canada Place?’ ” hahaha.) there was the 5 sail things there, & some kind of raindrop thing that signifies the connection between land & rain or something.. -__-

then we went to Stanley Park, & it was nothing but totem poles, & the beach was real pretty but the tide was low. im sure its prettier @ night!

after that, we went to Grouss Mountain or something like thaaaat. & the cable ride up was like $40 per person so we didnt ride it. lol. Then we went to this pretty reserve thing, w/ a semi-underwater aquarium! lol. then we went to this suspension bridge but it was too expensive, ($5 for parking, $35 for the actual action of going ON the bridge)

then we got lost on the way to my mom’s friends house, which we arrived @ around 6pm. the food was DELICIOUS! fresh seafood, off the bone ribs, amazing salmon! & everyone was so welcoming, & its times like that that makes me happy for being filipino lol. we made new friends, Vincent & Francis, (who just moved here in Canada last Jan from LONDON so his accent was SO BOOOOMB. haha)

Vincent has the cutest cousins, Jared, Cheza, & Ty. Jared is so shy, i like the most cuz he wasnt like a firecracker like the other 2! lol. Cheza showed me so many ‘secret hiding places’ & possibly the cutest 5 year old ever.

We all got bored & vincent & Francis invited us to the park to play volleyball with their friends. Vince’s little cousins tagged along! MAN, the weather so breezy, why can’t life can’t always be this easy? forreal, the weather was perfect. like 76 w/ a breeze. It was like spring time in jersey, & the neighborhood reminded me of Jersey too! i felt like i was in cali!

I met another of Vince’s cousin, Glaza (pronounced Glaze-uh) & her friend Stacy. me & my brother decided not to play volleyball but Mark did. Cheza & Ty made me go on the actual playground & play follow the leader. goin down the slides & on the monkey bars, i just got tired & left. haha.

3 hours passed & we all left. when we got @ the house, the parents were still talking in the kitchen! so me, my brother & Mark decided to go downstairs & met Dew, Vince’s younger brother. we all just chilled sat & talked & left @ 9:30 or something & arrived at the hotel at 10:30. & thats it?

day193; 7/12/10- seattle/ canada.

well after staying in this inn, we woke up pretty early, probably 5:30am or something. our breakfast was the nasty chinese food left over from last night, haha. we left @ maybe 6:15am, probably? we went to Washington, & nothing too interesting. but we went to the space needle! we were on full tourist mode! taking mucho pictures like asians.

we walked around & went on a monorail, walked the mall place thing, & went to Pikes Place market thing! it was so pretty! & they were throwing fish. :D haha. we all bought different types of food for lunch, & i had this cajun chinese super hawt fewds. :x

i pretty much fell asleep for most of the drive, we arrived in canada @ 9 something. the first thing i saw was this super pretty sunset! the second thing i saw was a deer casually crossing the street. LOL?

we arrived @ our hotel @ maybe 9:50 or something, it was this nice little place. (: i approve! d: well then we ate McDs for dinner, & CANADA EH?!

now that the driving bit is done, the vacation can really start!
